Raising Children Network

The Raising Children Network continues to extend its reach to parents of children across Australia with online and digital resources. As well as providing general parenting information, the website now contains specialist content on issues such as parenting children with special needs and fathering. It also launched a new Raising Teens section recently.

The Raising Children Network website is an evidence-informed online resource developed in Australia and designed for parents and carers of children and the professionals who support them.

The Raising Children website includes up-to-date, reliable information on a wide range of topics for parents of children from birth to the teenage years, as well as information for parenting under specific circumstances. It also provides online discussion forums that connect parents with each other.

The website is also used by professionals and agencies that work with parents every day, including general practitioners, maternal and child health nurses, child care workers, preschool and school teachers, social workers and psychologists.

The Raising Children Network, incorporating Smart Population Foundation, is a consortium of the Parenting Research Centre and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute’s Centre for Community Child Health at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
