Triple P

Overview
Triple P helps parents develop simple routines and make small changes that can make a big difference to a family. It helps parents understand the way their family works and develop new ways to think about raising children, talk about parenting and engage with their children.

Triple P is a unique, multi-level system of parenting and family support developed in Australia by Professor Matthew Sanders and his clinical and research teams from the Parenting and Family Support Centre (University of Queensland). Triple P works with parents to develop simple routines and make small changes that can make a big difference to a family. It helps parents understand the way their family works and develop new ways to think about raising children, talk about parenting and engage with their children.

Triple P helps improve child behaviour problems, but the main emphasis is on helping parents develop positive attitudes, skills and behaviour. This helps prevent problems arising and fosters family relationships that encourage children to realise their full potential.
