We are committed to the Reconciliation process and ensuring that our work and organisational development is informed by a deeper understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ culture and history. Our Reconciliation Action Plan working group includes staff at all levels of the organisation, and our advisory group includes key Aboriginal leaders working in the family support sector.
The Parenting Research Centre says Yes to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice
The Parenting Research Centre supports establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
We support the Voice because it is through working and learning together that we will realise the changes needed to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
As an organisation strongly engaged in reconciliation with First Nations Peoples, we believe that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice is an important step forward on this journey.
We say ‘Yes’ to the Voice.
