PRC to work alongside leading NGOs on Telepractice collaborative venture
The Parenting Research Centre and Karitane have been funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice and a group of non-government organisations and agencies to lead a collaboration that will advance Telepractice service delivery to support families, no matter where they live.
Established by the Association of Children’s Welfare Agencies, the Non-Government Organisation Telepractice Venture will deliver virtual solutions for families unable to access face-to-face services. The venture is in response to the increase in families experiencing a range of significant hardships, potentially reduced face-to-face supports, deteriorating mental health and a spike in domestic violence during the pandemic.
