Webinar: Practice governance
FREE ONLINE EVENT
Wednesday, September 13, 2023, 11am-12pm AEST
Event details
We know many practice specialists, organisational leaders and boards are thinking deeply about how we manage and oversee practice improvements in child and family services.
The Parenting Research Centre (PRC), ACWA and Fams invite colleagues from across the child and family services sector to join us for a free online webinar to explore practice governance, and how it can help boards have line of sight and better stewardship of practice, while providing organisations with a clear pathway to implement quality in practice thus improving child and family outcomes.
The team at PRC has been partnering with Life Without Barriers (LWB) to support their practice governance approach. Now, ACWA and Fams in collaboration with AbSec are also developing practice governance guidance for the sector more broadly based on this work.
Together we’ll look at how a well-structured Practice Governance Framework can provide clarity and data about practice and care governance as well as an effective structure to track and improve quality in practice.
Special guests
We are excited to bring together ACWA CEO Maree Walk, Fams Sector Engagement Manager Lauren Stracey and PRC CEO Warren Cann at this free event facilitated by PRC’s Derek McCormack to discuss the potential of practice and care governance to improve outcomes.
You will also hear insights from AbSec Director, Sector Operations Alira Tufui, and from LWB Deputy Chair Gillian Calvert AO and CEO Claire Robbs about their journey implementing a Practice Governance Framework.
Join us!
We look forward to seeing you at this free online event.
